Meenakshi Swamy

Meenakshi Swamy, graduated as a medic and has been teaching anatomy for over 15 years. She is currently working as a Senior Lecturer at Newcastle University.

She teaches anatomy to undergraduate medical, dental, biomedical, speech and language science students, and also to postgraduate clinical colleagues.

She is the Lead for the MRES Module in Surgical Anatomy. Her research interests are in medical education, particularly related to innovations in anatomy teaching and assessment. In 2010 she was awarded Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
