Bip Choudhury, Reader in Anatomy, has taught anatomy at the University of Manchester since 2005. She qualified as a medic and worked in various hospitals in the Northwest of England, before moving into teaching full time. She is deputy-programme director for the PGCert in Medical and Health Education.
Her research interests are in anatomy education and her PhD was on the Anatomical Student Experience. She is active in outreach events, enthusing future generations about anatomical sciences. She has published several children's book on the human body, for ages 6-9, with Dorling Kindersley.
